Fair Usage Policy
This Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") is intended to ensure that all our customers can enjoy the best possible experience on our network. We reserve the right to alter this FUP at any time.
General
Our services are intended for personal use. We consider commercial use to be a breach of this FUP. Examples of commercial use include, but are not limited to, running a business from your mobile phone, or using the service to generate income.
Usage Limits
Boontel is a safety layer for call screening and caregiver assistance — it is not intended to replace a cellular plan or be used as a general-purpose calling/texting service.
To protect answer rates, reduce abuse, and keep the service reliable for everyone, we may apply reasonable limits including throttling, temporary blocks, or additional verification for unusual usage patterns (for example: repeated high-volume calling, automated behavior, or attempts to evade restrictions).
Internet & Device Requirements
Some Boontel features require internet access (Wi‑Fi or mobile data), especially in‑app calling and caregiver joining. Quality and availability depend on the user’s connection and device.
Changes
We may revise this Fair Usage Policy from time to time. The revised version will be effective as of the published effective date. You agree to be bound by the revised FUP by continuing to use our services.
