Connectivity add‑ons (metered)
PSTN features create additional phone-network “legs” and are the main driver of variable cost. To keep quality high and prevent abuse, these features include monthly minute pools with overage pricing.
No‑internet inbound (ring regular phone)
When the senior can’t use Wi‑Fi/data, Boontel can ring their normal phone line for incoming calls.
Caregiver join by phone (PSTN)
Caregiver can join a call using their phone line (no internet). Best for emergencies of availability — not 911 emergencies.
Two caregivers per call
Allow up to two caregivers to join the same call. If both join by phone, it consumes minutes faster.
Extra protected family member
Add another protected family member to your plan (shares family minute pools).

Boontel is a safety tool. It may miss scams or flag safe calls. Recording/transcription may be restricted by local consent laws — you are responsible for using these features appropriately.
“Screened minutes” are minutes where Boontel performs real‑time analysis (e.g., live risk prompts, captions, and summaries). Minute pools are shared across all protected family members on the account.
